The PTA supports many wonderful programs and events throughout the school year, but we can't do it without the amazing support of our program chairs and volunteers! To volunteer for any of these amazing events check the sign-up list.

Meet the Teacher Night -

Tuesday, August 8, 2022, 4:30-6:00 pm

Come tour our brand new Mary Evans Elementary School, meet our new Principal Mr. Preston, and meet your teachers for the 2023-2024 school year!

First Day - Kindergarten and New Parent's Tears and Cheers

Thursday, August 10, 2022, 7:45-8:45 am

Kindergarten and new parents are welcome to meet in the multi-purpose room to share in the excitement of starting your little ones in school! There will be coffee and refreshments (provided by the PTA) so come and meet other kinder parents. Talk with some of the Evans staff about your first day jitters, or just enjoy the calm conversation with other adults after the long summer. 

WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students)

All Year Long

WATCH D.O.G.S. is an innovative father involvement, educational initiative of the National Center For Fathering. There are two primary goals of the WATCH D.O.G.S. program: 1) To provide positive male role models for the students and demonstrating by their presence that education is important. 2) To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.
