Our PTA provided new recess equipment for all grades, ensuring that our students have plenty of ways to stay active and engaged during their recess time each day. Additionally, we’ve installed new soccer nets for the whole school to enjoy! ⚽🎉 

Mary Evans PTA successfully held the fall Literati Book Fair and hosted Muffins with Moms! With a fantastic selection of books and yummy muffins for all, parents and students enjoyed browsing, buying, and sharing a love for reading—making the event a wonderful success. 📚🥞✨

The most sought-after event of the school year did not disappoint! Evans PTA organized a fantastic evening, with the WatchDOGS on the grill and Teachers and Staff serving up the delicious food. But, the biggest hit of the night had to be the dunk tank! 🤿💦 It was amazing to see our Evans families come together for a night of fun, food, and community spirit! 🔥🍽️✨ 

The annual Veterans Day celebration, honoring the brave men and women who have served our country, took place on November 11th. It was a memorable day filled with gratitude, patriotism, and community spirit as students, families, and staff came together to show appreciation for our heroes. Thank you to all our veterans for your service! ❤️🤍💙 

The day kicked off with a vibrant World Culture Day Parade, where students proudly showcased traditional attire, flags, and cultural pride. That evening, the November PTA meeting was held before families enjoyed a celebration of global traditions, food, and performances. It was a beautiful day of culture and connection at Evans! 🌎❤️ 

Evans PTA knows how important it is to show our appreciation for our dedicated teachers and staff. Each month, we do something special to let them know how much we care! This quarter, we treated our teachers to a coffee truck in November, and then helped with gift wrapping and provided iced sugar cookie care packages in December.

And, of course, we always celebrate their birthday (or half-birthday) month with their very own mini pie! 🥧

These thoughtful gestures are just a few of the ways we express our gratitude for the incredible work our teachers and staff do every day!

From festive decorations to fun activities, Evans PTA worked together to create a joyful atmosphere for students and teachers to enjoy. The grade level winter parties were a blast of crafts, games, and winter-themed activites.  It was the perfect way to head into Winter Break! ❄️☃️

Each school year, Mary Evans PTA selects and awards teacher grants to teachers and staff members who have submitted an application in the fall.  This year we were so excited to be able to help provide materials for the 1st grade baby chick experience, telling time clocks and read aloud book collections for 2nd grade, and materials for the 6th grade promotion ceremony. 🐥📖⏰
